R.I.P 'Tosser'

Today we mourn the loss of one of Queenslands finest... Dick 'Tosser' Turner. A man who served his state relentlessly, for 76 years. He may never of played for Queensland, but his imput was monumental. 'Tosser' was Queensland's first co-manager in 1982 alongside coach Arthur Beetson and was more recently named manager in the Queensland Team of the Century. A passionate, proud, and very vocal man was Tosser. And for that we love him.

In his last taste of Origin football, a frail looking Turner was wheeled into the victorious Queensland dressing rooms after game II to congratulate the players and staff and was greeted with a rousing reception.
It was a display of courage that epitomised Turner's character and is destined to live on in the heart of Lang Park and any player given the honour of donning the Maroon.

Thanks Tosser... You're a legend mate.
