Once Tribal, now Global...

I remember going to a gig more than a decade ago, atleast I kinda remember it. Some of the biggest dance acts on the planet lined up to give us one hell of a show. Back then it was called 'tribal gathering'. Why they ever changed the name I'll never know. But they have. Now it's called 'global gathering'. And the line-up this year is so stella, I can't afford to miss it. The only shame is, the original crew won't be here to enjoy it with me. You know who you are.

I'd challenge anybody to present me with a better (current) electronic line-up than this one-
(in no particular order) Faithless, Carl Cox, Sanchez, Oakenfold, Sasha, Bookashade, Tong, Bodyrox, Plump DJ's, Stanton Warriors, Ali B, Sven Vath, Sander Kleinenberg, 2many dj's, Erol Alkan, Annie Mac, Basement Jaxx, Morillo, Zabiela, Lisa Lashes, Proteus, Shapeshifters, Van Dyk, Halliwell, Judge Jules, Klaxons, Digweed, Howells, Lawler, Eric Prydz, Cirillo, Digitalism, Hot Chip, Andy C, Goldie, DJ Fu & Jungle Drummer, Grooverider, Scratch Perverts, and one of my faves Francois K.
To name but a few.
Now you tell me...... is that not a who's who.
It's happening on the 27th & 28th of July. Anybody remotely in the area around those dates would be wise to log on asap. Tickets will surely sell out.
I'll be there, along with Mez, Breeza, Shanty town, Lozzie, Coaltrain, Houndog, Gregory Peck & hopefully the Moscow Mutant will be joining the frey. Thats the intial crew, but all are welcome.
Tickets are selling very fast. Go to globalgathering.co.uk for info.
