WHAT COLOUR IS YOUR BLOOD???

Mine is Maroon. About that there is no doubt. I'm the parochial beast with one eye. The voice you dont want behind you in the stands. Particularly if you happen to be wearing blue. It's that time of year again.. Time to unleash the jersey, the sox, and the lucky jox. Once again I'll be all alone in a sea of blue, as I take my place in the stale beer sodden boothes of the Walkabout on Shaftesbury Ave. And once again my voice will be the only one heard as the match progresses. The sheepish blues supporters only come out of their shells near the end, and only if their team is ahead. They won't stand for the anthem, let alone sing, they don't own a jersey, they show little interest in the game itself... for them it's more important that everyone knows they come from sydney.
For me, Origin 1 is the most important day of the year. The game that must be won. To the boys I wish the best of luck, and pray for an impartial ref. From all corners of the globe, cane toads will be willing their team on to victory. And it is no different here in Londonia. I wear my colours with pride.

HELP A BROTHER OUT....

As if international sanctions and an oppressive military junta isn't enough... The people of Myanmar are now faced with a natural disaster of epic proportions. Millions homeless.. a hundred thousand dead.. no clean drinking water, food, electricity or communications. Food prices sky-rocketing.. and the spectre of a rising death toll due to disease hanging over their heads.. The beautiful peoples of Burma need your help now. Find a way to donate a few quid, and help a brother out.
